Job description:
As Maxymiser continues to expand, an opportunity has a risen for a Technical Analyst to join our technical team in Warsaw, supporting the US client services team. Your role will be understanding the business needs and requirements and translating them to technical specifications for the development teams so that the solution is produced correctly, with the necessary functionality and maximum efficiencies. The role of Technical Analyst is an integral part of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), being utilized throughout all stages to ensure requirements are properly facilitated, conveyed from the Campaign Brief (CB) and evolved into a technical, feasible and reasonable specification.
Work with Analysts on the Client Services team and the Technical Requirements Manager (TRM)/SE with the translation of Campaign Briefs into output driven test specifications, formatted and outlined in accordance with proper Maxymiser standards.
On-going, pro-active aligned communication between Client Services and Technical Services resulting in efficient and completed campaigns and updates. Concise workflow of effort between client services and the technical teams to ensure success of test campaigns.
Verify that requirements are complete and work with Client Services to ensure all campaign brief requirements are properly in place to ensure an accurate technical specification can be completed and that Development and QA Teams have clear and concise business and technical requirements before moving forwards. Also to ensure that all coding assets are correct and have the required quality and format.
Identify any requirements errors and defects, communicate them clearly to all stakeholders in order to define the right approach.
Manage changes to baseline requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools.
Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents/campaign specifications. Participate in peer reviews of work derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly.
Support a test driven development approach where software requirements are clear and test cases can easily be scoped, written and executed.
As this is a role supporting the US team, you will be required to work late hours (starting at 11AM). To compensate for the unsocial hours, the salary for this role will be significantly higher.
Requirements:
2+ years of technology based experience in a position as a Business Analyst, Requirements Manager, Developer, or QA Lead in Product or SaaS company
Experience working in a Scrum/Kanban environment, awareness of the Agile values and XP techniques.
Experience in other software development methodologies such as waterfall a plus.
Experience working with Project management, workflow, ticketing systems and understands its value and importance.
University degree is highly desirable (Engineering/Computer science or Applied Math related)
Knowledge of Front End Programming languages is an advantage (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
Object oriented analysis and design methodologies including knowledge of software development life-cycle process and knowledge of test automation technologies is a big plus.
Fluency in English
Excellent analytical and organisational skills
Good communication skills
Experience in the online marketing or web analytics is beneficial
