Programming Coordinator

This role is to be responsible for implementation of programming strategies and development of monthly schedules in Poland (under supervision of Programming Manager).

This role incorporates providing support for scheduling and programming activities for relevant channels from FNG portfolio, as well as cooperation with local and international departments to ensure clear communication about content.

Responsibilities:

Programming

Creates and develops monthly schedules based on programming strategy, channels positioning and demographics, ratings research and competitive analysis
Researches, screens and identifies relevant content
Identifies relevant content for non-linear platforms (AVOD, SVOD, YouTube)
Creates programmme highlights documents and provide highlights information to other departments
Provides each department with precise and relevant content information when needed
Checking and monitoring programme rights (license periods, runs, etc.)
Coordinates and monitor versioning
Provides support to external agency for preparation of listings for TV guides, epg services and Internet TV portals

Scheduling

Inserts monthly schedule into the programming system and manage all rights
Inserts contracts into programming system
Creates and distribute premiere list and monthly listings
Monitors implementation of on air plan and agreed strategies by schedulers

Market and Ratings Research

Collects information about market and competition
Study ratings and schedules of competitors
Prepares competition reports, ratings and other ad hoc analysis as required

Experience for the role:

Essential

- At least 2 years of proven experience in media industry, preferably in Programming or Scheduling

- Knowledge of programming and scheduling issues

- Knowledge of Polish tv market

- Basic knowledge of tv research

- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in managing information and databases

- Strong planning and organisational ability, able to manage projects and processes

- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills

- High self-motivation and feeling of ownership

- An advanced command of English both written and verbal

Preferred

- TV enthusiast and TV content fan

- Advanced skills in MS Office (esp Word, Excel and Power Point)

- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
