Programme Scheduler

A+E Networks Poland

Location: Warsaw

In light of dynamic growth we are currently recruiting for a Programme Scheduler role.

Key responsibilities:

Preparing monthly grids and executing strategic scheduling plans for A+E Networks Poland channels
Delivering rating targets
Control of programming inventory,
Screening, identifying programming needs
Proactively performing competitive analysis and market research, adjusting programming plans in order to excel performance of the channels
Supporting Head of Scheduling in developing programming strategy to drive audience viewing and enhance brand positioning
Cooperating closely with presentation schedulers and communicating efficiently other departments.
Staying on top of scheduling and programming best practices and innovations

Requirements:

Very good knowledge of English (written and verbal)
Experience in creating TV channel schedules (experience with factual channels will be an asset)
Very good knowledge of technical and operational aspects of channel scheduling process
Knowledge about media market and TV business, especially thematic channels segment
Experience with audience measurement tools (Advantage TechEdge, Arianna)
Team player who knows how to work independently and has time management skills that allow working efficiently to meet agreed deadlines
Exactitude and precision
Pro-active and goal-oriented
Fan of factual content
Advanced command of Microsoft Office (Excel and Power Point)
